Wanted in murder case of youth, 3 criminals arrested from Dadri
Greater Noida: Working out the murder case of man which was a fallout of clash among children during a cricket match, the Gautam Buddh Nagar police arrested three wanted accused in the case from Jarcha area of Dadri. Police officials said that all the three accused carried a bounty of Rs 25, 000 on their head.
Cops said that the arrested persons were identified as Jabbar, Shahrukh and Khalid, all natives of Kalonda village in Dadri.
"The accused were wanted in the murder case of a young boy who lived in their neighbourhood. They allegedly opened fire on one other group of their village fatally killing one of them. The trio of accused was absconding after the incident and a reward of Rs 25, 000 was also declared on their arrest," said K K Rana, station house officer, Jarcha police station.
Police have recovered two country-made pistol, a rifle and few live ammunition from the possession of criminals. They have been sent to jail after producing before the court.
On August 29, a fight broke out between two groups of children while playing cricket match in Kalonda village but got escalated when the adults from the two sides joined the fight. Shots were fired and both the groups as they assaulted each other with bricks and sticks. In the incident, 22-year-old Rizwan, who was not involved in the clash, was shot on the head and succumbed to injuries during treatment. Five other persons of the village also suffered critical injuries in the incident. Police had earlier arrested six persons in connection with the case but the main accused Jabbar was at large, who was arrested by police on Monday.
