Viral clip shows road mishap victim bleeding helplessly

NEW DELHI: A video of a road accident, retweeted by Aam Aadmi Party Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, has gone viral, which shows an accident victim bleeding profusely on the road and passersby as well as on-duty police officers ignoring his call for help.

The deceased, identified as 25-year-old Akash, was hit by a speeding Swift car on the Ferozshah Road, New Delhi during night hours on July 11.

The impact of the hit was such that, Akash was dragged for over 10-12 metres by the car. The car's driver tried to flee from the accident spot, but was nabbed by some passersby.

However, police claimed that the on-duty officers reached the accident spot on time and called help.
