Vaishno Devi devotees praise CM
NEW DELHI: After completing a four-day yatra to Vaishno Devi under the Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana, the yatris reached Delhi on Wednesday morning. Revenue Minister Kailash Gehlot welcomed them at the Delhi Safdarjung Railway station. Jubilant at the culmination of the tirth yatra, devotees said in one voice that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is the Shravan Kumar of Delhi.
The yatris reported that the Delhi government took good care of all the yatris throughout the 4-day visit. All amenities such as the AC train, food, accommodation, buses and other facilities were provided to the devotees during the visit.
Radhey Shyam, one of the devotees who visited the yatra, said, "Our train departed from Delhi on the evening of July 20, and reached the Katra station the next morning. A comfortable bus service was arranged by the government from the railway station to the hotel. The next day all of us went to visit the Vaishno Devi temple to seek the Mata Rani's blessings."
Kishanpal Singh praised Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and said, "We often thought of visiting Vaishno Devi, but could not do so because of our weak financial status. But because of Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, today we have received blessings from Mata Vaishno Devi." He continued, "Arvind Kejriwal has proved to be our Shravan Kumar. May Mata Vaishno Devi give a son like Arvind Kejriwal to every person."
Janaki Devi said, "We could not believe that facilities provided by the government could be so good. This has happened only because Arvind Kejriwal respects the elderly of Delhi and takes everyone along.
