UP CM urges Delhi voters to reject AAP

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a scathing attack on former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. Speaking at a public rally, Yogi urged voters to ensure the victory of BJP candidates — Bajrang Shukla from

Kirari, Dushyant Gautam from Karol Bagh, and Ashish Sood from Janakpuri.

During his address, Yogi did not hold back in criticising Kejriwal, calling him the “biggest criminal responsible for Delhi’s downfall.” He accused Kejriwal of failing to address Delhi’s deteriorating infrastructure, highlighting issues such as potholes, sewage problems, and garbage accumulation. Yogi also accused the Delhi CM of neglecting the

Yamuna River’s cleanliness and the suffering of locals in Mathura and Vrindavan.

Yogi took a direct jab at Kejriwal’s leadership, stating, “I bathed with my 54-member Cabinet at Sangam in Prayagraj. Can Kejriwal and his team bathe in the Yamuna? The person who turned it into a dirty drain should be held accountable.” He emphasised the

progress Uttar Pradesh had made under his leadership, citing successful events like the Maha Kumbh, which he said had drawn over 10 crore

devotees and boosted the state’s economy.

The Chief Minister also criticised AAP for spreading false narratives, accusing the party’s leaders of wasting time on lies rather than addressing public welfare. He claimed that AAP’s inability to deliver on promises, including financial support for women in Punjab, reflected their failure in governance.

Yogi further made accusations about AAP’s alleged involvement in distributing Aadhaar cards to ‘Bangladeshi infiltrators’ and occupying government land

illegally. He pledged that the Uttar Pradesh government had acted decisively, using

bulldozers to reclaim land

in Jamia Millia and surrounding areas.

With the Delhi Assembly elections on the horizon, Yogi’s comments are set to intensify the political battle in the Capital.
