Two youth shot at in separate incidents

New Delhi: In separate incidents, two persons were shot at in south east and outer Delhi, police said on Sunday.

Police said that at about 10.00 am, a PCR call was received about a man receiving a gunshot wound on his leg at Baprola in Outer Delhi. The injured man was identified as Vishal Sehrawat, 21, who was rushed to a hospital, where he is out of danger. The accused in the case, 23-year-old Sanju of Haryana's Rohtak, was arrested.

Cops said the motive seems to be personal enmity.

In another case which happened on Saturday, a person was shot in Okhla area.

The victim has been identified as Vinay Kumar, who works at a pharmacy near Noida Sector-16 Metro station.

Two unknown persons tried to steal his bike at Kalkaji flyover. Upon resistance from Kumar, they snatched the keys and fired one shot in the air and another at his right foot. They then took away his bike and fled. Later, Kumar was shifted to AIIMS and a case was filed based on his complaint.
