Two robberies reported from different parts of Capital

New Delhi: Unidentified armed assailants shot at two persons, when the latter tried to stop the robbers from taking away over 50 laptops stolen from the store of the victims on Friday in east Delhi's Shakarpur area.
Sources in the police said they are yet to ascertain the exact amount of the products stolen and that efforts are on to identify the accused men.
On Friday, the victim Vipul Jain told cops that when he and his wife tried to stop the thieves from robbing the laptops from the couple's store, the accused men, who came in an Innova car, opened fire at them. The couple luckily escaped unhurt.
In another case, a sales manager at a dairy store was robbed of Rs 20 lakh in north Delhi's Khari Baoli area on Friday evening.
Police claimed that the victim Dipak Agrawal told them that three men came in his office and robbed Rs 20 lakh from his drawer, threatening him at gunpoint. "Police are examining the employees and other persons for possible clues," said a police official.
