Two restaurant employees thrashed in Mandawali

New Delhi: Two employees of a restaurant were allegedly assaulted by some men over an argument on bill payment in east Delhi's Mandawali area on Saturday.
Confirming the incident, DCP (East) Pankaj Singh said on Sunday investigation has begun in the case and arrests are yet to be made.
"The incident took place around 7pm on Saturday. Two men came in the restaurant and had an argument with the restaurant staff over bill payment. They were later joined by two more men and the group began assaulting the staff. Two men, in their 40s and 20s, got injured," police said.
The accused men were seen picking up chairs and threatening the staff with it.
Later, three of them started thrashing one of the employees repeatedly, till he fell to the ground.
Police have registered a case under appropriate section of the Indian Penal Code.
