Two held for shooting man dead in north west Delhi
New Delhi: A man was shot dead after an argument reportedly broke out between him and three youth over a trivial issue in north west Delhi's Maurya Enclave area on Thursday.
Sources in Delhi Police claimed that they have solved the case and arrested two of the accused, identified as Varun and Sahil.
Cops said that the incident was reported on Thursday evening, when the three accused were was sitting on victim Pankaj's scooty, which was parked outside his residence.
"The accused and his friends suddenly got up from the vehicle due to which it fell down," said the police officer, adding that this infuriated the victim, and he began an argument with them.
The argument soon turned into a scuffle, culminating into one of the three youth taking out a pistol and shot Pankaj.
The victim was taken to a hospital, but died during treatment. Hours later, police arrested two of the accused .
In a different case, a 13-year-old boy was found dead under mysterious circumstances near a park in south Delhi's Sangam Vihar area, after he had been reported missing while on his way to school.
Police suspect the caused of his death to be drowning.
According to investigators, the boy had left his house on Monday for his way to school, but he did not came back home.
After looking for the boy in the area, his family members approached the police and lodged a missing complaint.
On Wednesday, a body was found near a park by passersby and the next day it was identified as the same boy who went missing.
