Two die as truck rams into car

New Delhi: Two persons died and three were injured after the vehicle in which they were coming was hit by a truck in Outer North district's Begumpur area on Sunday. Police have arrested the accused in the case.

Police claimed that the incident came to light after they received the information about the incident. The staff reached the spot and during the investigation they found that six persons were inside the car when a mini truck hit their vehicle from behind. The impact of the hit was such that two persons were grievously injured and later died.

"Three persons received injury and later during the investigation we nabbed the accused driver in the case," said police.

It is being suspected that the truck was driven in an errant manner which led to the incident in the case. The probe is also going on whether the accused was drunk or not.
