Trusting a little-known neighbour proved costly for a 14-year-old girl who was kidnapped and pushed into flesh trade. The girl was rescued after six months but what she suffered is beyond imagination.
It might seem to be yet another case of human trafficking with six arrests but the ordeal of the 14-year-old girl would make you think otherwise. The girl doesn't even know how many times she has been raped in the past six months, ever since she was kidnapped, and how many red tablets she gulped down given to her by abductors.
The minor girl was first lured by her neighbour Jyoti who was residing nearby her house on some pretext. The unsuspecting girl easily fell into the trap, unaware of the intentions of the woman to sell her off to different people in Haryana who would drag her into flesh trade.
The Delhi Police were approached by the father of the girl that her 14-year-old girl, who was a student of East Delhi School, did not return home in August last year. The cops immediately registered a kidnapping case in New Ashok Nagar. Soon, the cops sniffed that the girl was held captive in Hisar in Haryana. Upon receiving this tip-off, the team immediately raided at several places of Hisar and finally, the kidnapped girl was safely rescued from the clutches of the accused person and six others including three women who are involved in human trafficking and were arrested.
During the course of investigation, the victim revealed that one of her neighbour Jyoti and her husband Pradeep kidnapped her on some pretext and took her to Noida. Then she was taken to Kanpur in UP.
She was tortured by the duo when she tried to escape. The girl was sold to one Krishan in Hisar who raped her repeatedly before selling her to Krishan who later sold her to one Satvir.
"Satvir used one Mukesh to force her into prostitution. She was then sent to different parts of Hisar. Two ladies Kavita and Mamta use to call customers to their places for the girl. We have made a total of six arrests," said DCP (East) Omvir Singh.
Further, the girl also revealed that she was given some red pills, the composition of which is still unknown.
"We are still looking for Jyoti and her husband Pradeep who are stil absconding," said Ravinder Yadav, Joint CP (Eastern Range).
