Truck rams scooter, one student dead

NEW DELHI: In a tragic accident, a class 11 student lost his life when he was hit by a speeding truck in Alipur area of Rohini while returning from school at around 2 pm on Tuesday. Two others were injured in the accident.

On Tuesday, DAV Narela school children were returning home from the school. Two of them were riding a scooter. Little did they realise that the next few minutes would be traumatic. A truck suddenly rammed their scooter. The impact was so powerful that the boys got imbalanced and fell off the scooter. Unfortunately, one of the student identified as Tanishq got stuck under the truck wheels and was carried a long way. "A student died in the truck accident in Alipur," said a police officer.
