Traffic police to make arrangements for Janmashtami

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Traffic Police has made elaborate arrangements for the festival of Janmashtami on Monday.

Large number of devotees are expected to visit various temples on the evening of September 3 evening, till the early hours of the next day.

Functions will be held at Laxmi Narain Mandir, ISKCON Temple, Sant Nagar, Amar Colony, Janmashtami Park, Punjabi Bagh, Gufawala Mandir, Preet Vihar, Adhya Katyani Shakti Peeth, Chhattarpur, Santoshi Mata Mandir, Hari Nagar.

Restrictions will be in place around Laxmi Narain Mandir on Mandir Marg on September 3 from 2 pm.

No vehicles will be allowed on Mandir Marg from Talkatora Stadium towards Mandir Marg upto Peshwa Road – Mandir Marg T-point and vice-versa.
