To live luxurious life, three turn thieves but land in police net

New Delhi: To fulfill daily needs, Rizwan, Irfan and one juvenile started autolifting in Delhi but they ran out of luck on Sunday when they were apprehended by police in Khajuri Pusta in North East Delhi.
According to police, with two arrests and nabbing of a juvenile, they have worked out three cases of motor vehicle theft and recovered three stolen motorcycles from their possession. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North East) Ajit Kumar Singla said that the arrest was made on February 25 on the basis of an information that they would come from Khajuri Pusta Road towards Loni. On this information, the police team acted smartly and laid a trap near Khajuri Pusta Old Police Station and Khajuri Khas and nabbed the accused.
Police claimed that the accused disclosed that they wanted to live a luxurious life and needed more money to fulfill their daily needs and other expenditures. So, they indulged in auto-lifting.
"They had stolen a large numbers of motorcycles from North East and East districts," police said. Police further claimed that Rizwan is fond of driving motorcycle but his father did not give him money to purchase a motorcycle. He was not given pocket money either.
