To celebrate ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ from Aug 13-15

New Delhi: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi is planning to celebrate “Har Ghar Tiranga” from August 13-15 under the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative to commemorate the country’s 76 years of independence.

Through the campaign, students of MCD schools will prepare the national flag by themselves and hoist it at their homes. Teachers have been directed to click pictures with the students and their national flags by the Education Department of the Corporation. The principals have been responsible for successfully executing this campaign in their schools. “The students will be made aware of the Flag Code of India to ensure the respectful handling of our National Flag,” the MCD announced in a statement.
