Technician nabbed for sexual assault at LNJP Hosp

NEW DELHI: A 19-year-old teenager was sexually assaulted by a hospital technician on Monday at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan (LNJP) Hospital, leading to the arrest of an individual. According to the police, the accused, who had been acquainted with the complainant for the past four to five months, was taken into custody after the woman filed a formal complaint.

According to the complainant, she reported the incident at the IP Estate Police Station, prompting the registration of a case under Section 64 of the BNS Act.

The accused, a technician at LNJP Hospital, had a close relationship with the woman, including phone and social media communication. CCTV footage showed them interacting normally at the hospital. The relationship deteriorated when the complainant learned the accused was married. The accused was arrested.
