Suraj Pal Amu gets bail on medical grounds

Gurugram: Karni Sena general secretary Suraj Pal Amu, who was admitted to Rohtak PGI after a complaint of 'severe chest pain', was discharged on Tuesday. He was later granted bail on medical grounds.
Under production warrant he will be interrogated by the Gurugram police on February 2. After he complained of pain Amu was first sent to Gurugram government hospital at around 1:00 am on Monday but later in the evening referred to PGI Rohtak.
Amu, who is facing charges of instigating violence, was arrested by the Gurugram police and was to be produced in Sohna court on January 29.
Moreover, the special investigating team that was set up was also slated to interrogate him. Ammu had made a lot of controversial remarks in the past with regards to the film Padmaavat.
