SSC paper leak: Rahul Gandhi meets agitating students

New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday met the aspirants protesting against alleged irregularities in the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level Tier-II examination paper.
Meeting the agitators on the eighteenth day of their protest outside the CGO Complex here, Gandhi attacked the BJP-led Centre for trying to hide the SSC paper leak.
He also alleged that the future of the youth was being destroyed, asking whether jobs were meant only for the rich.
"The promise of providing two crore jobs to the youth every year was a jumla (gimmick). On top of that, vacancies have decreased," the Congress leader said on Twitter.
"The big scam has happened under this government's very nose. 'Saheb' should tell why the issue was being hidden," he added.
At the protest venue, the Congress president said he stands with every student affected by the SSC paper leak and assured them he will ensure that the "sleeping government is woken up."
He further said that students are the future of the nation and since students have stod up for their right, no one can stop them.
He assured the students that "for every one step you walk, I will walk a 100 steps."
