Spl arrangement to ensure safety at North & South campus stations

New Delhi: In order to provide a safe and secure environment to the aspiring students of Delhi University, who would commute through the Metro to reach the university's North and South campuses, Delhi Metro police has made special arrangements for the security at the University's North and South Campus Metro stations.
The Metro police has made adequate security arrangements on both the stations. "Under this, the police teams will be keeping a constant vigil over the paid and non-paid areas the Metro stations," Deputy Commissioner of Police, Deepak Gauri, said. He also added that the police have deployed a number of police officials both in civil clothes and uniform to look for the miscreants inside and outside Metro stations."
Although Metro stations at North campus are considered safe for the commuters, taking extra steps for the safety of female students, police teams in plain clothes will patrol around the Metro stations.
