Sisodia interacts with newly-recruited school teachers
NEW DELHI: Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia hasasked newly-recruited trained graduate Computer Science teachers of Delhi government schools here to contribute their constructive inputs to improve the quality of Computer Science education in schools.
Sisodia was interacting with the teachers during a programme organised by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday.
The teachers talked to Sisodia and put before him various inputs, such as increasing the number of ICT (Information Communication Technology) periods from the current one or two weekly classes.
After listening to the teachers and their suggestions, the Deputy Chief Minister instructed officials of the Directorate of Education present at the meeting to improve supply of books to teachers and students on an urgent basis, and to figure out ways by which maximum utilisation of labs by students can be ensured with available full time lab assistants.
