Senior police officials to discuss COVID-19 & issues releated to NE Delhi riots

New Delhi: Delhi Police Commissioner will soon take a meeting with senior officers through video conferencing in which discussion will be on various topics related to COVID-19, police image, investigation status in North East Delhi riot cases.

Sources told Millennium Post that the top cop will discuss on the issues related to COVID-19, complaints from North-Eastern people related to harassment in the name of Corona Virus, women safety, cybercrime.

"Discussing will also be held on the topic related to advising colleges, universities to make a system of debarring entry of old students, missing children cases, free registration of cases. Preparedness to handle Mumbai 26/11 type of incidents in Delhi will be reviewed," sources added.

According to police, the action taken points for the meeting includes adequate publicity of staff being rewarded for good works, particularly on social media, strengthening evidence collection mechanism in women-related crimes in general, how public perception can be improved, strengthening cyber cells to counter fake, malicious propaganda.
