SDMC's e-vehicles: Number of charging points goes to 116

New Delhi: SDMC has made 116 charging points for its 62 e-vehicles being used in Corporation. AR Sihag, Secretary, Union Ministry of Heavy Industries, on Thursday inaugurated one AC charger station with three points and one DC charger station with a single point at SDMC office situated at Ambedkar Stadium.

With the opening of the two stations, the numbers of charging points have gone up to 116. The EESL-Energy Efficient Services Limited has installed 83 points whereas 33 points have been installed by the Rajasthan Electronic and Instrument Limited (REIL).

"116 charging point are spread over across the jurisdiction of SDMC to facilitate charging of the E-vehicles provided to different department situated at different places," the Corporation said.
