Rao Inderjit files nomination

Gurugram: Rao Inderjit Singh, the BJP candidate from Gurugram, on Friday filed the nomination. He was accompanied by leaders Kalraj Mishra, Bhanwari Lal and Umesh Aggarwal. Before submitting the affadavit, Rao Inderjit held a public meeting at the Gaushala ground where he urged the people to vote him back to the parliament for fifth time.

The 69-year-old Ahirwal leader who in the past has not shied away in criticising the state government said that all the leaders in the BJP were united to bring back Narendra Modi back as Prime Minister again. Speaking of the achievements, the four-time MP highlighted how the BJP government was instrumental in completing the Kundali-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway, a project that was held up for last 10 years. He also assured the voters that all the projects that were held up due to various hurdles in the past will soon be completed.

As per the affidavit filed by Rao Inderjit, his investments in forms of companies and shares add up to Rs 1.65 crore while his spouse's total investments are worth Rs 90 lakh. Rao Inderjit has commercial properties in Vasant Vihar in Delhi and Old DLF Colony in Gurugram that adds up to Rs 507.5 lakh. Rao Inderjit also has investments in residential properties in Nainital and Kasauli besides the National Capital Region (NCR).

The total worth of his residential properties is Rs 10,25,02,950 while his wife has Rs 11,28,03,000. The total value of the agricultural land owned by Rao Inderjt is Rs 1,92,94,950 while his wife has Rs Rs 9,13,03,000. Rao Inderjit owns three cars namely Toyota Innova, Honda Civic and Toyota Camry while Skoda Octavia is registered in the name of his wife. Rao Inderjit is the son of Rao Birender Singh who has also won from the Gurugram seat various times.
