President of Noida homebuyers association gets death threat from builder

The president of Homebuyers association, Noida Extension Flat Owner's Main Association (NEFOMA) received a life threat from a builder in Greater Noida West for holding a protest at his site. The builder alleged that the association always protests against the Hindu builders.

One of the directors of Airwil Intellicity, Vikas Bhagat through a phone call threatened NEFOMA president Annu Khan on the name of Bhartiya Janta Party's newly elected Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath and his party Hindu Vahini.

Following this, the members of NEFOMA along with their supporters made a complaint to Senior Superintendent of Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar on Monday.

NEFOMA president, Annu Khan alleged that the builder has tortured him mentally and has put some pity allegations on him.

According to Khan, he held long conversations with Vikas Bhagat where he raised questions over the delay in possession of flats to the homebuyers.

"The builder turned violent and had put allegations on me that any protest which is headed by me is against Hindu builders only. He also said that he will send the members to Hindu Vahini to my home to thrash me. He said that he can spend over one crore rupees to vanish me out. The builder said that he is in touch with the senior officials of the district and will ask them to take actions against me," said Khan.

On April 16, Annu Khan staged a protest along with other aggrieved home buyers of Airwil Intellicity over stagnant construction work and delay in possession. The builder was annoyed over him as it tarnished his image and threatened him over the phone.

Also, the builder warned him not to carry any such protest again. In the phone call, the builder also mentioned that he is in touch with Yogi Adityanath and other top ministers in the state government and might inflict severe punishment on Khan for the issue.
