NEW DELHI: The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit of the Delhi Police’s Crime Branch and the Police from the Police Post Kashmere Gate successfully reunited two missing minor girls with their families in two separate incidents.
According to the police reports, in the first case, a 15-year-old girl, reported missing since March 21, from Ranhola, Outer District, Delhi, was recovered after nine months of diligent efforts by the AHTU.
The minor was traced to Vikas Nagar Bus Stand, Nangloi Najafgarh Road, Delhi, following an intensive investigation involving manual and technical surveillance.
The operation was led by a team comprising Inspector Manoj Dahiya, SI Narender Kumar, W/SI Ranjana, HC Ajit, and HC Jai Kishan, under the supervision of ACP Arun Chauhan. The victim, whose family resides in a rented house in Delhi, faced challenging circumstances, with her father deceased and her mother handicapped.
