PCR reunits 2 children with their families
New Delhi: A human face was once again by Delhi Police PCR unit as they shifted pregnant lady to the hospital.
In another case, two children were reunited with their families.Deputy Commissioner of Police (PCR) Shankar Choudhary said that on July 20, at around 4:05 pm, the PCR staff received a call regarding a pregnant lady to be shifted immediately from BJRM Hospital to Dr Ambedkar Hospital and no any ambulance is available in the hospital due to strike.
The staff immediately reached to her and she was shifted to the hospital.
The DCP further stated that on July 20 at 1:30 pm, the PCR staff, while on patrolling they noticed a girl who lost her way home from school. The staff displayed the utmost presence of mind by reuniting a seven-year old girl with her parent's residents of Kanhaiya Nagar.
In the intervening night of July 20-21, at around 8:53 pm, the PCR staff received a call regarding lost minor girl at Saket Metro station.
The PCR staff rushed to the spot within three minutes and met with the caller.
The girl was also present there where she informed that she left her home in search of a job and did not give any information to her family members as she does not want to return home. "With a sympathetic gesture, the staff consoled her and succeeded to get phone number of her brother. The staff verified all the facts and told her brother to come at Saket police station to pick her sister. The girl was later handed over to local police of Saket police station," police said.
In another case, Delhi Police patrolling unit rescued seven buffaloes loaded in the vehicle. The driver later on identified as Ganesh Prasad, who was handed over to local police of Lodhi Colony police station. The PCR also recovered two stolen cars and ten stolen two-wheelers from various places across Delhi.
