Over 500 clusters gutted in fire

New Delhi: More than 500 clusters were gutted after a massive fire broke out in Shahbad Daulatpur area. Delhi Fire Services claimed that no casualty was reported from

the sight.

Delhi Fire Services (DFS) claimed that the incident came to light when they received a fire call around 11:37 am in the morning without wasting any time fire tenders were pressed for the job.

"Around 21 fire tenders were rushed to the spot and found that the fire was in 500 to 600 clusters," said the fire official.

He further added that at around 1:20 pm the operation was called off. "After three hours we successfully doused the fire," said the officer.

The reason behind the fire was still ascertained. The investigation is going on whether some cylinder blast was there or any spark which caused the fire. At the spot, residents were left with the clothes which they were wearing everything including their money was gutted in the fire.
