Notorious gangster from Bihar caught by Ggn police

GURUGRAM: Gurugram Police cracked a major case after they were able to get hold of a dreaded gangster from Bihar in the city during late night surveillance on Saturday.

Identified as Ram Singh, the accused is wanted in several cases of burglary, extortion and murder.

Singh was arrested in the wee hours of Sunday, after he was stopped for checking by the police personnel. He unsuccessfully tried to evade the police party by firing a few rounds at them with his AK-47, but was easily subdued.

Upon interrogation, police realised that Singh was one of the wanted criminals in Bihar.

He is also accused of murdering his rival Bablu Kumar. Cops are now trying to find out why he had come to Gurugram. Sources suggest that he came to the city to save himself from getting caught in his native state.

This is the second incident in recent times where Gurugram cops have arrested criminals belonging to other states.
