No new case in GB Nagar, district admin removes four areas from hotspots list

GB NAGAR: The Gautam Buddh Nagar district administration on Wednesday removed four reas including two residential societies and two housing sectors from its list of 29 hotspots after no new case was reported in past 28 days from the date of sampling. Earlier, the administration had identified 22 hotspots butseven were added to the list later after positive cases con- tinued to rise. Among the areas removed from the list of hotspots in GB Nagar are Lotus Boulevard Especia in Sector 100, Hyde Park in Sector 78, Sector 41 and Sector 30 in Noida. Officials said that at some places, one hotspot included more than one society — Paras Tierra, Logix Blossom and Wazid- pur village have been counted as a single unit in Sector 137, while Hyde park and Super- tech Cape Town in Sector 74 were put together in a single hotspot area. "Two hotspots have been fully removed while other two have been partially removed.Hyde Park society along with Supertech Cape Town has been removed partially from the list as no new case was reported in one of the two societies in past 28 dayswhile another still continues to be a hotspot. The genral lockdown principles shall apply on all those places which have been removed from thehotspot list," said Suhas LY, District Magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar. The seven areas added to the list of hotspots include 14th Avenue in Gaur City, Shatabdi Rail Vihar in Sector 62, Eta-I in Greater Noida, Sector 50 Noida, Eldeco Euthopia Sector 93A, Silver City in Sector Pi-II of Greater Noida and Begum-pur village in Kulesra, Greater Noida. The health department has recommended sealing of the hotspots for 28 days and opening it only after the chain of transmission has been broken.

Meanwhile, around 61 persons, including 18 female and 27 children from eight families were sent to isolation aftertwo of the 10 members of Tab- lighi amaat, ho remained hidden at Begumpur village, were tested positive with Covid-19. All these suspects were picked on Tuesday night,a day after two reports came positive. Meanwhile, four other persons were picked for quarantine from a residential society in Sector 2 of Greater Noida west.
