Nigerian held with 11 grams cocaine at Rajiv Chowk metro station
New Delhi: The Central Industrial Security Force officials on Friday nabbed a Nigerian nationals and recovered around 11 grams of cocaine worth of Rs 78, 680 from them including three mobile phones and other articles in his possession. The accused- Nwerem Chinonso Remigius- aged 25 from Nigeria were nabbed at a security check point (B- block) of Rajiv Chowk Metro Station, while he was trying to breach scanning process, said in CISF statement.
According to the CISF official, the accused were hiding some unusual padding under his left leg sock, over suspicion, he were instruct to remove the socks for checking but the passengers refused. Later, the matter was reported to senior official and during through search the foreigner passenger and his baggage, 12 small sachets of white colour powder substance were found, concealed under his sock.
