Jat agitators reach Delhi, submit memorandum addressed to PM

The Jat reservation agitators, under the banner of Akhil Bharatiya Jat Arakashan Sangharsh Samiti (ABJASS) on Wednesday raised slogans and handed over a memorandum addressed to PM Narendra Modi to officials. Earlier, the agitations of the Jat community intensified in Haryana,demanding reservation in education sector and government jobs. However, now the protestors have entered the city, with scores of Jats staging a protest in North West Delhi's Ghevra Mod on Rohtak Road.

The organisation had last week announced to hold a series of protests in Delhi's border areas in support of the quota agitation by Jats in Rohtak, which has been peaceful so far. mpost
