A 20-year-old man was stabbed to death with scissors after he had an argument with two people inside a barber shop over the issue of who would use the comb first in South East Delhi's Badapur area on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Pawan, who was stabbed by two accused- Navami and Raghubir, who have been arrested.
According to police, the incident was reported on Sunday afternoon around 1:30 pm. "We had received a PCR call that one person was stabbed inside a barber shop in Badarpur. We had sent in a team, to inquire into the incident. We found that one person was lying in a pool of blood and was shifted to the local hospital," said a senior police official.
The victim was later identified as Pawan. During investigation it was found that Pawan had an argument with the two acused over the use of a comb. The barber shop was owned by one of the accused, and when the accused were arguing, they got into a physical confrontation.
"The matter soon aggravated and Raghubir caught Pawan by his hair, Navami took out a pair of scissors and stabbed him multiple times," the officer added.
Pawan was rushed to Apollo hospital where he was declared brought dead on arrival. The police have detained both the accused who are currently being interrogated.
