Newly built Nigam Pratibha School inaugurated

New Delhi: With a motive to provide the better infrastructure at the MCD schools, Mayor Narendra Chawala inaugurated newly constructed three-storey Nigam Pratibha School at New Chaukhandi, which is equipped with the modern amenities.

Addressing the gathering, Mayor Chawala said that this building will go on a long way in developing a better environment conducive to learning. "This three storey building is earthquake resistant and have 21 classrooms, 1 big hall, separate toilets for handicapped girls and boys,1 fire escape, addition to this there is provision of water harvesting, drinking water facility and Ramp for handicapped persons," an official said. The construction cost of this school is around Rs 3 crore, the official added.
