'Neither jumla nor disappointing', Delhi BJP slams AAP for its Budget reaction

NEW DELHI: The Delhi BJP on Friday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's reaction on the Interim Budget 2019-20 and claimed that Delhi can have RS 25,000 crore more if CM Kejriwal-led government implement Metro Phase-IV, Delhi Meerut RRTS and Ayushman Bharat. The Chief Minister termed the budget as "jumla" in response the BJP observed it was "Neither Jumla nor disappointing".

Leader of Opposition Vijender Gupta said that the Budget 2019 is the culmination of the grand vision of the Prime Minister, Narender Modi. It addresses the problems of the present while laying out the plan of taking India to new heights in the next ten years. "It is the budget for new India. The budget document reiterates Modi Government's motto of sub ka saath sab ka vikas. It has brought big relief for middle classes, particularly salaried class. Rebate on income tax upto Rs. 5 lakhs is a big win for honesty," said Gupta.

While welcoming a direct allocation of Rs 1,112 crores for Delhi in the Union Budget Leader of Opposition said that the Central Government is liberally contributing to the development of Delhi and betterment of Delhiites.
