NDMC stands first in flower show

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has bagged the first prize of the 30th Garden Tourism Festival Flower Show which was organised by the Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation (DTTDC) at Garden of Five Senses at Said-ul-Ajaib in South Delhi area.
While congratulating the Horticulture team of NDMC, Chairman Naresh Kumar said that with the aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the working of Horticulture Department of the Council, a five-member team has been sponsored to visit Beijing in China for being trained in the mechanism of horticulture field in the next month.
NDMC participated in 184 sections of the flower show and in as many as 122 sections stood first, second or third and won 19 trophies and cups for its excellent best entries in the flower show. The theme of the flower show was tray garden, pot plants, dahila, terrarium, roses, hanging basket, bougainvillea, bonsai and display of photography.
