NDMC celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week

New Delhi: The New Delhi Municipal Council on Wednesday hosted the Chief Technical Examiner of the Central Vigilance Commission, Shailendra Singh at an event meant to celebrate the Vigilance Awareness Week at the NDMC Convention Centre here in the Capital. Motivational speaker and retired IFS officer, Deepak Vohra was also at the event, where he delivered an address on Integrity, Trust and Corruption, saying that trust and integrity are an inborn moral conviction of humans and that such values should be nurtured if one wanted to live in a corruption-free society.

CTE Singh spoke to employees and officials of the NDMC about the technical issues of designing a transparent tendering process and also stressed upon the need

for self-explanatory provisions in the tender to avoid execution delays.

NDMC's Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), Sanjay Kumar Tyagi was also at the event.
