NDMC awards certificates to RPL passout trainees

New Delhi: Under the skill development initiatives of Smart City, New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has awarded certificates to 823 passout trainees of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
The programme has been organised in collaboration with National Skill Development Corporation at convention hall by the New Delhi Municipal Council.
Underlining the importance of skill development of the employees of the Council, Chief Executive Officers (CEO), New Delhi Municipal Council, Smart City Ltd, Juhi Mukherjee said that this training has been imparted to 16 batches of a garderner, five batches of safai karamchari and one batch of Mason General of NDMC through a training partner.
The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is being imparted under the Smart City initiatives to the different field of employees of the NDMC so as to provide desired services to inhabitants of New Delhi area, she added.
In order to enhance the efficiency of work culture by skill development programmes, the NDMC has decided to traine 10,000 employees of different fields like horticulture, construction, electricity, security and sanitation department of NDMC, she informed.
