NCWEB releases first cut-off list
New Delhi: Delhi University on Friday evening released the first cut-off list for admission to the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB).
Keeping with the previous trends of having cut-off percentages realistic for various undergraduate courses, the administration of many college kept cut-offs low this time.
Miranda College and Hansraj College have the highest cut-off for both BA Programme and BCom courses, available at 78 and 85 per cent, respectively. The cut-offs saw a dip of almost five per cent compared to last year.
Aditi Mahavidyalaya and Bhagini Nivedita College have the lowest cut-offs, with 72 per cent for BA and 77 for BCom, with a dip of four per cent.
The cut-offs in SC, ST and OBC categories too have come down considerably. Admission to these courses will commence from June 30 and continue till July 2. More than 1.5 lakh applications were received for the 12,000 odd seats of NCWB this time. The NCWEB classes are held on the weekdays at the respective teaching centres.
