MP Mahesh Sharma inaugurates Pink toilet

Noida: Noida MP Mahesh Sharma inaugurates a Pink toilet at garden galleria mall in sector 18 of Noida on Friday. The pink toilet is constructed by Noida authority for convenience of women who turn up for shopping in huge number as this is one of the busiest market places of the city.

The authority has earlier opened similar public convenience in sector 50 and sector 39 markets of Noida. These toilets have sanitary pad vending machine, a separate room for breastfeeding for lactating mothers and a waiting bench to sit if the toilets are occupied.

Officials said that these toilets operate from 8 am to 8 pm daily. Apart from this, the MP Mahesh Sharma also flagged off mechanised road sweeping machine in Sultanpur village of Noida.

He also distributed cleaning kits among locals to segregate wet and dry waste for environment-friendly disposal.
