MNC executive sexually molested in Ggn, three held

Gurugram: A 21 -year-old woman executive in an MNC has alleged that she was molested by a group of men while returning home from work.

In her police complaint, the woman said the incident occurred on Thursday night near New Town Heights society of Sector-86, where around six-seven men grabbed her and tried to kidnap her.

The woman told cops that had she not escaped on time, the situation could have worsened.

Subsequently, Gurugram Police registered a case and arrested three people involved.

The incident comes just days after two girls were raped in the city in a single day.

Recently acquired police data tabled by the Haryana Government in the Assembly showed that Gurugram leads the list of district in crimes against women.

From January 1 to June 30, 95 cases of rape were registered in Gurugram, followed by 90 cases in Faridabad. Several activists in the district have also taken the government to task over the issue.
