Missing JNU student's mother issues legal notice to leading English daily

Missing JNU student Najeeb Ahmed's mother Fatima Nafees on Friday sent legal notices to an English Daily along with three other electronic media channels.

The legal notice has demanded for an apology from the English Daily and the electronic media channels on carrying out the fake news that maligned the character of Najeeb Ahmed.

A demand has also been raised that the English daily must ensure that the fake news must be taken down from all the portals, social media accounts and the websites.

The legal notice has asked the English Daily that an apology should be carried out on its front page for seven continuous days. Since the news has been circulating widely in social media, it has also been demanded from that one tweet must be issued every two hours for period of seven days containing unconditional apology.
