Minister of Social Justice Ramdas Athawale rewards NDMC Safai Sevaks

New Delhi: "The sanitation services by the Safai sevaks are very important work for the Health of every citizen and society. They are serving their duty from early in the morning to midnight daily without any holiday in Capital City, resulting into NDMC has received the Swachta Sarvekshan Award 2018. NDMC has achieved the first rank in the category of upto 3 lakh population city and overall fourth rank in the nation in the Swachta Sarvekshan".

This was observed by the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, Ramdas Athawale in the prize distribution ceremony organised by the National Commission for Safaikaramchari (NCSK) for New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Safaikaramcharis for their performance in the Swachta Sarvekshan 2018 achievements.

He gave away the awards to the best safai sevaks of NDMC for their excellent duty.
