Metro services on both ways between ITO and Central Secretariat stations will be delayed for nearly 15 minutes on September 19.
The first Metro train service from ITO to Badarpur will start at 6.10 am, instead of 5:45 am.
Similarly, the first Metro train from Central Secretariat to ITO will depart at 6.01 am instead of 5.31 am.
"The delay in services will affect daily commuters who take this Metro corridor for their routine travel," said an official of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
As per the Metro timing schedule, train services on all corridors of the Delhi Metro will resume from 5.45 am on all days of the week.
"However, this minor change in timings is necessitated to facilitate the integration of the signalling system from existing operational section with the upcoming ITO to Kashmere Gate section of the line during these hours," the DMRC official further said.
Additionally, Metro feeder bus service will also ply between Central Secretariat and ITO Metro stations at an interval of 15 minutes, via Janpath and Mandi House, during this period.
The first Metro feeder for Central Secretariat to ITO will operate at 5.45 am
instead of 5.30 am and from ITO to Central Secretariat it will start at 6.00 am instead of 5.45 am.
However, other Metro train services will run as per normal schedule on rest of the Line-6 (ITO to Badarpur-Violet Line).
