Man who killed senior citizen in Ranhola lands in police net

New Delhi: The 32-year-old man involved in six cases of murder, attempt-to-murder and arms Act was arrested from Pochanpur area of Dwarka on 11 August.

Police claimed that in December 2017, he killed an elderly man in Ranhola and later the violent mob had burnt three cars, one bike and office of the accused persons after the incident. The accused was identified as Sandeep Kana who was working as a cable operator in Jhajjar.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) AK Singla stated that on December 27, 2017, in Harphool Vihar, Baprola, the accused was consuming alcohol. Later, they became aggressive and started misbehaving with local residents and thrashed them with baseball bats and sticks in order to maintain supremacy in the area. One Chandresh Ram died in the incident.

The police team was made under the overall supervision of DCP Bhisham Singh.
