Man tries to intervene in quarrel in outer Delhi, killed

New Delhi: A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death after he tried to intervene in the quarrel in Outer Delhi's Aman Vihar area. Police claimed that they have arrested the accused.
One more person was injured in the case. The deceased was identified as Nitish worked as a labour in Mundka whereas the injured was identified as Yogesh who is a student. Police claimed that they have arrested the accused identified as Kitab Singh (21) who works as a cook at a fast food joint near Ugna Chowk.
On Thursday at about 11 pm, a PCR call about a quarrel and stabbing at Ugna Chowk, Agar Nagar was received in Aman Vihar police station. On Thursday 10.30 pm Aatish (brother of Nitish) and some other boys were quarrelling near Ugna Chowk.
"Victim and deceased came to intervene in the quarrel. While accused was a bystander witnessing the quarrel. Deceased Nitish under the false impression that accused Kitab Singh is from the opposing side which gave his brother Aatish a beating, started thrashing Kitab Singh " said the Additional DCP (Outer) Rajendra Singh Sagar.
