Man stabbed to death in Ranhola over petty argument
New Delhi: A youth was beaten to death in outer Delhi's Ranhola area on Sunday evening, with Delhi Police saying that they have arrested one man in the case.
The deceased was identified as Munna Lal, who used to work in a kabaadi shop in Uttam Nagar, police said, adding that they were informed about the incident at 9.30 pm the same day.
A fight had broken out between Munna and the accused outside his residence, after the former refused to fill water for him from the tanker.
The scuffle turned ugly and, in the process, the accused stabbed Munna in the chest. Monu fell unconscious and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
In another incident, a tractor allegedly crushed a 16-year-old boy to death and injured four women, who were attending a Ganesh idol immersion procession in north east Delhi's Nandnagari on Sunday.
