Man shot at for passing lewd remark on friend's relative

New Delhi: Lewd remarks passed by a man on his friend's relative soured their relations to such an extent that two persons tried to kill the man, but were arrested from Dwarka Sec-23.

Police said the accused were identified as Rohit Mundra (28) and Rahul (27).

DCP (Dwarka) Shibesh Singh saied that Rohit Mundra and his friend Ashish Mittal met their mutual friend Charanjeet at a party, where "Charanjeet passed lewd and obscene remarks about the family members and girlfriend of the other two to project himself as a don. Charanjeet even sent lewd messages to Mundra's sister and challenged him to do whatever he could."

Eventually, Rohit, along with one Rahul and Illu, reached Charanjeet's house in Sarai Rohila and fired at him, but he narrowly escaped.

The accused then fled, but were eventually arrested.
