Man shoots at wife, friend suspecting them of affair
New Delhi: A 29-year-old man who shot at his wife suspecting infidelity and then his friend after he refused to give money was arrested from Nasirpur area of South West Delhi, police claimed on Wednesday.
The accused was identified as Vikram Kumar Jha. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West) Devender Arya stated that the accused disclosed that he had doubts about the character of his wife.
To take revenge, he planned to murder his wife and fired at her at about 7 pm on August 12 at her maternal house in Dabri police station area. After firing, he fled and reached Nasirpur. At Nasirpur, he saw his friend Dharmender Yadav and requested him to drop him at Mahavir Enclave on his motorcycle. "He needed some money to escape from Delhi and demanded the same from Dharmender but he refused. On his refusal, he fired at Dharmender and put his motorcycle on fire," added the DCP.
