Man murdered for alleged bullying, two arrested
New Delhi: A 28-year-old man was brutally killed in South West Delhi. Police have arrested two accused in the case. The deceased was attacked with a knife in his neck. The initial investigation suggests that bullying might be the reason behind the murder.
According to police, on April 10, a missing report was registered on the complaint of one Mukesh regarding missing of his brother Niranjan (28). Mukesh stated that his brother has been missing since April 7.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South West) Devender Arya said that during the course of investigation, call details of his friends were obtained and search of his associate was made.
During the further course of investigation, two of his friends, Raju (18) and Rohit (24) were interrogated who then revealed that they along with his associates had murdered Niranjan with the help of Knife.
"They attacked him on the neck with a knife," said DCP Arya. Later the body was dumped his body in a drain.
From their instance, the body has been retrieved from the drain and case under sections 302/201/120 B IPC has been registered at Sarojini Nagar police station. Police said that the facts are coming out that the deceased used to bully them which resulted in the incident. "This fact is being probed. Further investigation of the case is going on to arrest the co-accused," police said.
