Man killed in clash over money

NEW DELHI: A man was murdered on Sunday night when a group of men attacked him and his father in North West Delhi's Bharat Nagar. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Deepak. His father was also injured in the incident who was later discharged from the hospital.
The trigger for the bloody fight was a small amount between the deceased's brother and the two accused who are also neighbours. It is said that the fight started over the money and turned bloody after the neighbour threatened to call goons from nearby Mangolpuri.
It is said that Deepak's brother Vishal was into some trouble with two locals in the area namely Ravi and Rohit over a small amount of money. On Sunday, the matter took an ugly turn when the duo confronted Vishaal over the money. However, the fight took turned violent. Later, the duo threatened the family with dire consequences and left the spot. Sensing danger, the victim's family called police. However, even before the police arrived, the duo returned with a group of goons and attacked the family of Vishal, residing in JJ colony of Wazirpur. Somehow, they caught hold of Deepak and stabbed him with a knife. When Deepak's father tried to intervene, they attacked him too.
Deepak started bleeding profusely and was immediately rushed to the hospital but he succumbed to his injuries. His father was later discharged from the hospital after treatment.
