Man held for death of pregnant wife in Bhajanpur

A man filed an FIR against the in-laws' of his deceased daughter, who died under suspicious circumstances. Subsequently, the Bhajanpur police arrested the husband of the victim.

The 23-year-old victim married the accused in November last and was two-and-a-half months pregnant at the time of her death.

She was a resident of Kartar Nagar and was married to the accused, a resident of Subash Vihar, North Ghoda.

The victim's father called the 181 Women Helpline to report his daughter's death.

He said that the in-laws had called him and informed him that his daughter had fallen in the bathroom and that she was admitted to GTB Hospital.

Upon reaching the hospital, he discovered that she was dead and she had injury marks on her body.
